Full Time Utility Position:

The hours are between 8am- 8:30pm. Schedule includes working every other weekend.

Summary/Objective:

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes and the dish room areas. Additional duties include general cleaning duties, delivering extra trays of food items and storage room duties as assigned. Will also perform other related department functions as assigned. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Dish Washing  Washes and sanitizes all dishes, utensils, pots and pans per each meal period.  Checks dishwasher to ensure cleanliness prior to loading dishes and cleans dishwasher at the beginning and end of each shift.  Returns clean and sanitized dishes, pots and pans to proper location within the kitchen area. 2. Stock  Puts away stock as it arrives from delivery trucks and organizes stock on the kitchen shelves. Rotates stock.  Cleans stock room with proper cleaning supplies as set by their supervisor or manager. Ensures checklist is completed before the end of each shift. 3. General Cleaning and Sanitation  Performs general cleaning and sanitation duties of the kitchen and dining room as requested.  Maintains cleanliness of the loading dock and trash cans. Wraps up hose and returns to proper location.  Empties garbage and trash on a regular basis. Sanitizes garbage or trash container and replaces the bag each time trash is changed. Required Education and Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED), and at least six months kitchen experience required. Must be proficient in the use of kitchen equipment and utensils.
