Electrician at TCU Town & Country Utilities (TCU) is looking for a multi-skilled Electrician to be the technical backbone of our utility operations. If you're a problem-solver who thrives on the intersection of complex electrical systems, automation, and heavy mechanical equipment, we want you on our team.

In this role, you won't just be maintaining a system; you'll be ensuring the safe, reliable, and continuous flow of essential services for our community. The Role at a Glance This position requires knowledge of installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical, and instrumentation equipment and related systems; skill in the techniques of handling tools and monitoring equipment used in the electrical trade; and knowledge of safety standards and practices applicable to the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and related systems and to provide corrective measure for resolution of problems. The ability to develop work procedures that will provide minimum interference with plant operations. The ability to read, interpret and review engineering plans and specifications and to make simple sketches of electrical parts or systems.

Expert Troubleshooting:

Mastermind the repair and maintenance of PLCs, SCADA systems , generators, and telemetry. Provide critical electrical expertise while supporting mechanical teams with pumps, motors, and gearboxes. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) , mentor team members, and manage high-value electrical inventory.

Safety First:

Champion a culture of safety by strictly following LOTO and confined space procedures. What You Bring The ability to interpret complex schematics, ladder drawings, and technical manuals. Hands-on experience with motor controls, flow equipment, and high-capacity industrial systems. A collaborative spirit—you'll be working closely with plant staff, field technicians, and independent contractors.

Experience:

High school diploma Associate's degree preferred Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience Why TCU?
