Utility Person - Production, Shipping & Maintenance We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Utility Person to join our team in the Glastonbury, CT area. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role designed for someone who enjoys variety in their workday. You will split your time between operating specialized machinery, managing shipping and receiving tasks, and performing general facility maintenance. Our production machinery is highly customer-specific, so we will fully train anyone who brings a solid foundation of prior machine operation experience in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:

Set up, monitor, and operate customer-specific production machinery. Monitor output to ensure products meet exact technical specifications.

Shipping & Receiving:

Prepare products for shipment, verify incoming and outgoing freight, unpack deliveries, and accurately log inventory using basic computer systems.

General Maintenance:

Perform routine facility upkeep, basic mechanical troubleshooting, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop floor.

Quality Control:

Conduct close visual inspections of parts and materials to detect any defects before products head to the next stage of production or shipping.

Documentation:

Use Microsoft Word and basic data entry systems to log production metrics, inventory updates, and maintenance activities.

Language Skills:

Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English to interpret technical work instructions and shipping labels.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency with basic data entry and Microsoft Word.

Physical Demands:
