Utility Position with CDL

Position Summary:

The Utility Person plays a vital support role in maintaining the professional appearance and operational functionality of the dealership. This individual is responsible for cleaning and detailing equipment, general lot upkeep, minor repairs, and assisting with facility maintenance. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to take initiative are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash, clean, and detail agricultural equipment for delivery or resale. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and yard areas. Perform light maintenance and repairs on dealership grounds (e.g., fixing fences, signage, weed control, snow removal). Assist with basic facility repairs and upkeep (e.g., changing light bulbs, painting, minor plumbing, or carpentry work). Organize equipment and materials in designated areas. Assist technicians or parts personnel with moving equipment or parts as needed. Transport equipment to and from customer locations for pickup and delivery, ensuring safe handling and timely service. Safely operate equipment such as tractors, skid steers, forklifts, and pressure washers. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required, with a clean driving record. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Experience operating agricultural or construction equipment is a plus. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Self-motivated with strong time management skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods. Work performed outdoors and indoors, sometimes in hot or cold conditions. Pay based on qualifications and experience.
