Job Description

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with qualitative research and moderating (e.g., IDIs, focus groups, roundtables).
  • Familiarity with synthesizing qualitative data into actionable insights.
Additional Requirements
  • Experience with usability testing tools (such as UserTesting, UserZoom, Figma, or similar platforms) is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience within Client Retail (Client Retail Stores or Retail Customer Care/Contact Center) is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting worldwide programs involving multiple countries and languages.
  • Prior experience in the broader technology sector or retail research is highly desirable.
Key Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience in UX research, qualitative research, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • Solid foundation in established qualitative research methods, including usability testing, user interviews, and observational research.
  • Ability to assist in translating complex user behaviors into clear, intuitive stories that inform and inspire business decisions.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and bringing structure to open-ended user experience problems alongside a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to co-present findings to a range of audiences in person and via email.

Client Retail's Customer Insights team is looking for a passionate User Experience (UX) Researcher to work on-site with our diverse team. You will play a key support role in providing actionable, customer-centric qualitative insights and recommendations to the business as Client Retail continues to evolve. Your contributions to research and usability testing will amplify the voice of the customer, using direct feedback to help shape our retail experiences.

Description As a UX Researcher, you will support the Customer Insights team by diving into custom projects leveraging qualitative research methods and usability testing. You will be joining a small but mighty, fast-paced team dedicated to delivering actionable insights that help the business move forward. In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
    Conducting Research:
    Supporting the planning and execution of qualitative research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, and contextual inquiries.
      Analyzing Feedback:
      Assisting in the evaluation of user behaviors, open-ended feedback, and qualitative data to understand user needs and pain points.
        Synthesizing Insights:
        Collaborating with senior team members to use multiple inputs and business context to uncover meaningful behavioral trends and user journeys.
          Storytelling:
          Contributing to the transformation of complex qualitative data into timely, compelling stories that inform and inspire leadership and frontline teams.
            Tailoring Communications:
            Helping to craft research approaches and create intuitive communications tailored to diverse audiences.
              Creating and Delivering Presentations:
              Supporting the preparation and sharing of insights and actionable recommendations via email, in-person meetings, and formal presentations. Experience with Keynote highly preferred.
