Job Description
- Ensure customers are receiving timely service
- Assist with hiring, training and coaching an excellent valet team
- Create a staffing schedule according to the anticipated daily vehicle volume
- Comply fully with the standard operating procedures while always ensuring the safety and security of vehicles and keys
- Prepare and process daily paperwork according to audit compliance standards
- Ensure that drive lanes and crosswalks are clean and clear of debris, water, oil spills, etc.
- Create and implement a successful staging plan, utilizing all aspects of the location's layout to ensure maximum parking capacity
- Handle, process and calculate revenue
- Administer employee progressive disciplinary action
- Substitute and fill-in for any position if and when necessary Starting Hourly Rate of Pay The starting rate of pay for the Valet Supervisor position is $24.00 hourly. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that an individual encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the Valet Supervisor position:
- The position is located at an airport terminal where the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- The main responsibilities of the position are conducted in an office setting where the temperature settings are controlled
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Driving is conducted outside where the temperatures are diverse and the weather conditions are adverse Position Status and Availability The individual selected for the Valet Supervisor position must be available to work a full-time, flexible shift including weekends, holidays and overnight.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
- Ability to speak clearly, write legibly, perform basic calculations and work well other employees
- Willingness to work outside in extreme weather conditions (cold, hot, rainy)
- Consistently arrive at work and on time; ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrive at meetings and appointments on time
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write) with customers, co-workers and management to their understanding Licenses The individual selected for the Valet Supervisor position must:
- Possess a valid California state issue driver's license with a current address and no restrictions
- Possess an acceptable driving record (MVR) with no at-fault accidents within the last seven (7) years Computer Skills The individual selected for the Valet Supervisor position must:
- Possess basic computer software knowledge including utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Possess the ability to quickly grasp computer mainframe systems to ensure an efficient and effective flow of business operations in the processing of payroll, employee documents and the completion of employee training courses Supervisory Experience The individual selected for the Valet Supervisor position must possess:
- At least one (1) year of supervisory experience, preferably Valet
- Previous Valet Supervisory experience a plus Math Ability The individual selected for the Valet Supervisor position must possess basic mathematical skills to:
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide

- A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- At least one (1) year of previous supervisory experience preferably in Valet
