Position:

Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

Location:

New Riegel High School New Riegel High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will lead and develop a competitive program that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic success.

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and conduct all aspects of the varsity girls basketball program Develop practice plans, game strategies, and offseason programming Coordinate with assistant coaches and youth programs to build program continuity Promote positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and community Ensure compliance with all school, conference, and Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) rules and regulations Support academic achievement and character development of student-athletes

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience preferred (high school or higher) Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and program development Valid Pupil Activity Permit (or ability to obtain) CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass background check Interested candidates should submit email of interest and resume to: Dave Losey, Athletic Director dlosey@newriegelschools.org
