City of Massapequa is seeking a reliable, detail oriented, and motivated Vehicle Prep Department Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing new and pre owned vehicles for delivery, display, transport, and service while ensuring every vehicle meets dealership presentation standards. The ideal candidate works well in a fast paced environment, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of delivering a high quality customer experience. Responsibilities Prepare new and pre owned vehicles for customer delivery Wash, vacuum, clean, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors Install dealer plates, decals, and accessories as needed Check fuel levels and ensure vehicles are properly fueled Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, or missing items prior to delivery Maintain organization and cleanliness of the prep and wash areas Move vehicles safely throughout dealership property Assist sales and service departments with vehicle readiness Perform lot maintenance and general support duties as assigned Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred Previous dealership, detailing, or automotive experience preferred Strong attention to detail and work ethic Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the day Team player with a positive attitude and dependable attendance What We Offer Competitive pay Opportunity for growth within the organization Medical, dental, and vision benefits available Paid time off and holidays Employee vehicle purchase program Supportive team environment
