Job Description

Job Summary Looking for someone with veterinary experience, common sense, and a good work ethic. This job is fast-paced and hands-on. You will get dirty, stay busy, and need to work well with others. A large part of this job involves cleaning, so we are looking for someone who does not mind cleaning throughout the day and helping wherever needed. This position will involve floating between technician assistant duties and receptionist duties depending on the day, so being adaptable and able to communicate professionally with clients is important. If you are someone who stands around on their phone waiting to be told what to do, this probably is not the job for you.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of veterinary experience
REQUIRED
Quick learner and self-motivated Professional with clients and coworkers Drama-free and dependable Comfortable handling animals, restraining, cleaning, and assisting where needed
Schedule:
Mon-Thurs Pay:
$16-$18/hour depending on experience We want someone who genuinely wants to learn and be part of a team. Responsibilities Assist veterinarian and technicians with animal restraint, positioning, and handling during examinations and procedures Support kennel operations by cleaning, feeding, and caring for animals in the facility's kennel area Perform basic animal care tasks including pet grooming, training support, and pet care education for clients Maintain detailed records of medical collections, treatments, and laboratory results while adhering to veterinary terminology standards Assist in laboratory procedures related to diagnostic testing and analysis of animal samples Support veterinary critical care efforts by monitoring animals' vital signs and providing necessary assistance during emergencies Apply knowledge of animal anatomy and restraint techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff during handling A resume is required!
