We are team oriented, and our top priority is building a team that loves coming to work every day. The ideal candidate is someone who is great with clients (the easy and the challenging ones) and works well independently as well as with a team. They should be able to perform basic veterinary assistant skills such as: animal restraint, running lab work, phlebotomy, IV catheters, injections, medication administration and charting. We would love to have someone that enjoys and is proficient in anesthesia, including dental and surgical technology. Our hospital is clean and bright and has a home-like feel. The clinic if fully equipped with point-of-care diagnostic equipment, including digital x-ray, in-house bloodwork and urinalysis machines, ultrasound, highspeed dental unit, brand new dental x-ray, and more. We strive to use our assistants/ technicians to the highest of their ability and allow them to do what they do best every day. Full-time candidates will be prioritized but would consider part time for the right person. Pay is competitive and we have several benefits, such as paid licensing fees, stipend for continuing education, and employee discounts. We do offer a group health insurance plan and simple IRA plans for full time employees. We are open for appointments the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month so candidate must have some weekend availability.
