Veterinary Assistant

We are looking for a veterinary assistant (experienced preferred) for a two and a half doctor, small animal hospital in Cobalt, CT. Our goal is to serve our clients and their pets with optimal care while providing excellent customer service. You need to be great with people, a team player, and have a positive attitude. This position would including but not limited to assisting in rooms, assisting with in-hospital patients, helping with answering phones, and client communication. Recommended skills include animal restraint, medication dispensing, customer service, and assisting with overall patient care. Being a small hospital, we do expect all of our staff to help out in every area, so interaction with our clients is essential. You need to be able to multi-task during the busy times and be self-motivated during the slow times.
