Job Description

Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant We're looking for a dependable, motivated veterinary technician or assistant to join our team. If you enjoy a fast-paced day, take pride in doing things well, and want to be part of a clinic that truly values its staff, this could be a great fit. This role is hands-on and varied. You'll be involved in patient care from start to finish, supporting our doctors, helping clients, and making sure our patients are safe, comfortable, and well cared for every step of the way. What You'll Do Assist with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats Collect samples, run in-house lab work, and assist with diagnostics including radiographs and ultrasounds Monitor patients during procedures and recovery Support dental procedures, including cleanings and extractions Administer medications as directed Keep accurate, thorough medical records Help with day-to-day patient care including feeding, cleaning, and general comfort What We're Looking For Prior experience in a veterinary clinic (assistant or technician role) Confidence handling animals safely and calmly Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized during busy days Willingness to jump in wherever needed and work as part of a team Good communication skills with both coworkers and clients Experience with lab work, radiology, or anesthesia monitoring is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person About the Role No two days look exactly the same here. Some days are routine wellness visits, others involve urgent care, surgery, or dentals; and most involve a combination of all of the above. We're a team that supports each other, communicates well, and takes pride in providing solid, practical care to our patients. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
