In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians and veterinary technicians by assisting with daily clinical tasks, animal handling, and client communication. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure our furry patients receive compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in veterinary medicine while making a positive difference in animals' lives. Duties Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safe and stress-free examinations and procedures Support veterinary technicians with medication administration, injections, and catheterizations Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques during laboratory procedures and clinical tasks Manage front desk responsibilities including client check-ins, appointment scheduling, and answering inquiries Support laboratory work such as sample collection, processing, and record keeping Aid in animal physiology assessments and basic diagnostic procedures to assist veterinarians in diagnosis and treatment plans Experience Previous kennel experience or animal care background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Veterinary assistant or clinic experience highly desirable; familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus Hands-on experience with animal restraint, dog handling, and pet care techniques Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and basic laboratory procedures Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members Ability to follow aseptic techniques diligently and maintain detailed records in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for animals meets professional growth!
