8891 Overview Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for an Inpatient Veterinary Assistant to work in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Room (ER) section of our Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital. The individual in this position will work directly with the IMC clinicians and rotating intern doctors to help facilitate quality care and patient flow through the IMC, ICU, and ER. This is a day shift rotating monthly between weekends and weekdays. Monday- Thursday 7:00AM
- 5:00PM, Friday
- Sunday 7:00AM
- 8:00PM.
- Inpatient and assigned levels II or III.
Level II:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital environment.Level III:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital environment. Substitutions allowed forExperience:
