The Role:

As our Floor Lead, you are the heartbeat of the hospital's daily operations. You aren't just a tech; you are the strategist who keeps the day moving smoothly for 2 to 3 doctors and their support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Workflow Management:

Oversee the daily flow of doctors, technicians, and assistants to ensure appointment efficiency and high standards of care.

Problem Solver:

Pivot gracefully when "daily hiccups" happen—managing call-outs, overbookings, or doctors running behind etc

Triage Expert:

Coordinate and fit urgent care cases into the schedule without disrupting the flow of general practice, dentistry, and surgery.

Team Mentor:

Act as a go-to resource and mentor for less experienced staff, fostering a culture of growth.

Liaison:

Serve as the vital link between the DVMs and the floor team, reporting directly to Management.

Logistics:

Manage the team's lunch breaks and monitor overtime to ensure everyone stays refreshed and compliant. What You Bring to the

Table Experience:

At least 5 years in the veterinary industry with a strong Technician background.

Tech Savvy:

Familiarity with EzyVet and IDEXX laboratory equipment is a huge plus.

Leadership:

A natural ability to lead by example, stay calm under pressure, and communicate clearly.

Community Mindset:

Hours:

4 to 5 days per week (8-hour shifts).

Some Saturdays:

Rotating half-day shifts.
