While we primarily care for dogs and cats, our experienced team treats a variety of animals—from guinea pigs to horses.

View our website to get to know us more: Animal Health Care AssociatesJob DescriptionWe're looking for a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Practice Manager to lead daily hospital operations and support a positive, efficient team environment. This role is responsible for staff management, scheduling, inventory control, client service, and ensuring the hospital runs smoothly while delivering exceptional patient and client care.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary setting and can effectively lead and support a team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversee daily hospital operations and office administrationRecruit, hire, onboard, train, and support hospital staffManage employee schedules, performance feedback, and team developmentMaintain positive employee relations and address staff concerns professionallyEnsure excellent client service and timely resolution of client concernsManage inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and controlled substancesEnsure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA, and DEA regulationsSupport payroll processing and administrative reportingCoordinate patient records, scheduling, and communication regarding treatments and carePromote the hospital within the local community and veterinary industryAssist with front desk responsibilities, including answering phones and handling emergency communicationsPerform additional duties as assigned

QualificationsQualifications:
Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferredknowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong CommunicatorHighly organized and possess computer skillsSelf-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillsetOpen availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital's needsAdditional InformationPay Range:
