Experience in this role is preferred. In this role you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their family pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary practice. Your knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal care will be essential in ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and their pets. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, creating a welcoming environment. Provide compassion to pet owners that may be faced with the loss of a family companion. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Handle payments accurately. Maintain accurate patient records and note taking. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Skills The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills: Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy. Familiarity with kennel operations and animal husbandry practices. Background in veterinary care or veterinary reception is a prefered. Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a clean environment. Ability to handle dogs of various breeds with confidence and care.
