Hunt Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you play a vital role in creating a positive and seamless experience from check-in to checkout. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with pet owners, multitasking in a busy hospital setting, and being an important part of a collaborative veterinary team. Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: Provide warm, professional client service to pet owners and patients Answer phones, schedule veterinary appointments, and gather patient history Process invoices and payments accurately Verify vaccination and medical record status Communicate patient arrivals and needs with veterinarians and technical staff Prepare prescription, food, and OTC product requests as directed Maintain accurate records in veterinary practice management software Support smooth daily hospital operations and front-desk workflow This description is not exhaustive; duties may evolve with hospital needs.
