Veterinary Receptionist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date. Process payments and assist management with billing inquiries with attention to detail. Provide information to clients about animal husbandry, pet care, and veterinary terminology. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations. Qualifications Previous experience in veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm demeanor.
