Veterinary Receptionist (Experienced Only) - High-Volume Veterinary Clinic Oroville, CA $19.00-$21.00/hour 4 Days/Week (Availability for a 5th day required)

This is a
FAST-PACED, HIGH-VOLUME
veterinary reception position. We are specifically seeking applicants with
PRIOR RECEPTION EXPERIENCE
in a veterinary hospital or veterinary clinic setting. This is NOT an entry-level receptionist position and is NOT a fit for applicants whose experience is limited to retail, food service, call centers, or general customer service roles without front desk/reception responsibilities. Applicants without veterinary reception experience will not be considered. About Our Clinic We are a mission-driven, high-volume affordable veterinary clinic focused on reducing animal suffering through spay/neuter and accessible veterinary care. Our front desk team plays a critical role in maintaining efficiency, organization, and compassionate client communication throughout extremely busy clinic days. We are seeking a reliable, long-term team member who thrives under pressure, communicates professionally, and can confidently manage a demanding reception environment.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
(NON-NEGOTIABLE)Veterinary Reception Experience Required Minimum 1-2 years of veterinary receptionist experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital Experience handling high client and phone volume in a medical setting Front Desk / Reception Experience Required Applicants MUST have prior experience: Answering multi-line phones Scheduling appointments Handling payments and invoicing Managing client communication professionally Multitasking in a front office environment Strong Computer Skills Required Applicants must be comfortable with: Typing quickly and accurately Learning and navigating veterinary software systems Managing multiple computer programs simultaneously Email communication and basic office software Experience with Pulse or other veterinary software strongly preferred.
