Veterinary Technician

Eden Animal Hospital is a brand-new, privately owned small animal practice in beautiful San Clemente, and we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats during treatments and procedures Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery Prepare patients for surgery, including administering pre-operative medications Take radiographs and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Educate clients on pet care, medications, nutrition, and preventive health Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment Support excellent workflow and client communication throughout the day Qualifications Veterinary technician experience required RVT preferred, but not required Strong animal handling and restraint skills Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support Skilled in radiology positioning and diagnostic procedures Knowledge of aseptic technique and patient care standards Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Strong communication and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the hospital Why You'll Love Working Here Supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunity to grow with a new and expanding hospital Beautiful beach-town location just minutes from the ocean Meaningful work with a team that values quality medicine and patient care Join our passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care to our furry friends!
