About The Role The Video and Motion Graphics Editor at Rising Tide Interactive plays a vital role in the creation of visually compelling political video content designed to inspire action and engagement. This creative professional is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing videos tailored for digital platforms, including social media channels like TikTok, Reels, and Stories. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of professional experience in video editing and motion design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality content under tight deadlines. This role offers flexibility with the option to work remotely or from our Washington, DC office, and it runs through November 2026 with potential for extension based on mutual interest and business needs. As part of the Creative team, you will manage multiple projects from script to final product, ensuring each piece aligns with strategic goals and platform specifications. Your responsibilities will include developing creative concepts, selecting appropriate footage and assets, integrating motion graphics, visual effects, and audio, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. You will stay updated on the latest trends in digital video and social media tactics, ensuring that Rising Tide's content remains innovative and effective. Collaboration with team members, coordination of remote shoots, and management of media assets are integral parts of this role, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills.
