At Harmony House School of Music, we strive to create an environment where students receive high-quality music education in a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere. Our goal is to help students grow musically while nurturing confidence, joy, and a lifelong love for music. We are a small family-owned home business with 3 teaching studios operating on our property in the neighborhood of Tehaleh located in Bonney Lake, Washington.

JOB SUMMARY

We are excited to find passionate and dedicated voice & piano teachers who can join our team to inspire our students through music while fostering their love for learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music and a love for teaching students of all ages. Duties Provide high-quality private, one-on-one lessons for children, teenagers and adults Prepare engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's goals based off curriculum provided Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Contribute to a positive, inclusive, fun, and up-beat lesson environment Encourage participation in recital performances to build confidence and showcase student progress. All scheduling and work-related correspondence will be done by administration for you You will not be responsible for finding students and maintaining your hours/schedule Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Music (or current enrollment) preferred, but not required. Prior music-teaching experience preferred. Experience—and genuine enjoyment—in working with children is essential; 90% of our students are kids, so strong comfort and fluency with them is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students of all ages and learning styles Compensation Starting wage is $30.00 per hour with opportunities to earn raises! Tax Classification:

W-2 Employee Paid sick leave is accrued based on hours worked Paid opportunities outside of teaching hours are available via student recitals or other events Any teaching materials or supplies will be provided! You will not need to pay out of pocket for anything teaching or recital related
