Job Description

A client of ours in Versailles, KY is seeking a seasoned VP of Finance & Controller to serve as a key member of their leadership team. With 7+ years of progressive experience, you will lead their financial operations through a period of strategic scaling. This role requires a rare blend of technical GAAP mastery and the executive presence necessary to manage lender and investor relationships. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

BachelorsResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting, Risk & Compliance Reporting Excellence:
Oversee the preparation and delivery of sophisticated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a multi-entity structure.
Audit & Tax:
Lead all external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting, ensuring 100% compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations.
Capital Management:
Manage reporting requirements for lenders, investors, and ownership; support due diligence for acquisitions and financing.
Internal Controls:
Build and maintain a rigorous control environment to safeguard company assets and mitigate risk across all locations.
Accounting Operations & Systems Scaling Departmental Leadership:
Lead and mentor the accounting team (GL, AP/AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management) while establishing clear KPIs.
Infrastructure Optimization:
Evaluate and optimize ERP and accounting software platforms to improve automation and financial visibility.
Process Improvement:
Develop scalable accounting systems and workflows that support rapid organizational growth and new entity integrations.
