World Class Academy is searching for an energetic and enthusiastic VPK teacher. Our unique program pairs strong academics and social growth with a character development curriculum based on core Christian values. We are looking for a caring and creative individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Plan and provide activities based on our curriculum that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving appropriate to the developmental levels of the children. Execute daily classroom schedule to include teacher-directed learning, child-centered experiences, quality outdoor time, age-appropriate proper hygiene, lunch times, nap time and other daily activities. Communicate effectively with parents electronically and in person regarding the children's academic, social and developmental progress. Create and encourage child interactions with peers and adults to foster children's social competencies, including self-esteem and confidence. Conduct VPK assessments. Assist the Director in the selection of books, equipment and other instructional materials. Maintain a clean, safe and organized classroom. Maintain attendance records. Supervise children at all times.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience teaching VPK Associate degree Loving, patient, friendly and reliable DCF 45 hours Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) or CDA First Aid and CPR Certification VPK Certified Required experience: 2 years.
