293395586 Job Description Job Duties/Scope Of Work This position supports the Central Badge Office and the Reliability Program Office. The successful candidate will possess exceptional time management and who seeks to achieve personal and team goals. The Emergency Services Admin will support multiple programs within Personnel Security to include but not limited to, Central Badging Office, Workplace Substance Abuse Program, Foreign National Access, Pre-employment Background Investigations, Clearance Processing, and other associated programs. Some of the duties will include:- Beginning and end of day opening/closing of the CBO facility to include securing of equipment, property, and entrance/exit doors.
- Greet and receive customers. Engage with customer(s) to determine needs and provide service or direction as appropriate.
- Issue security badges of all types. This includes visitor badges, tour badges, Hanford Site-specific contractor and employee badges, HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badges, and other current or future badge types.
- Operate auxiliary badge stations as needed, e.g., special tour processing, employee exit stations, receptionist stations and other locations where the presence of a badging specialist is deemed necessary.
- Enter information into a variety of database systems, run database reports, review security access requests and other related documents for completeness. Ensure forms and security access requests are complete and that needed security badges are issued according to written company guidelines. Request supervisory or management review for situations not addressed in written procedures.
- Conduct audit/inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Data entry of employment eligibility (I-9), drug test results, and foreign national access information
- Scheduling training.
- Support HSPD-12 credentialing with assisting in correspondence and processing for applicants/candidates.
- Maintain active files associated with drug testing.
- This position is expected to provide support to other Personnel Security functions as directed by supervisor or management. Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, plus at least 5 years of related experience required -OR- an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" Clearance.
- Prior experience working in personnel security or a similar environment desired.
- Experience with CIMS, Sentry, RPTS, and other Personnel Security related software/hardware desired but not required for consideration.
- Previous experience working with sensitive or private information (Official Use Only).
