The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with POS systems. This role involves delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining food safety standards. Experience in fine dining or the food industry is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest engagement. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Uphold sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is advantageous Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional service, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
