Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator Steele Solutions - 3.2 South Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Purchase order management High school diploma or GED Microsoft Teams Algebra Full Job Description Summary Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Supply Chain department. This role ensures smooth and accurate processing of shipments, hardware inventory, and logistics coordination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Perform a wide variety of support tasks within the Supply Chain department to ensure efficient operations; Oversee Material Ship Directs, including coordination of shipping activities and maintenance of accurate shipment records; Manage the hardware process: receive, pick, track, and organize hardware inventory; oversee the install book process, including picking and staging install books for outbound shipment; Serve as a backup for daily logistics operations: booking trucks, following up with brokers, and processing shipping-related paperwork; Coordinate with external suppliers and internal departments to arrange internal freight shipments and manage MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) purchases related to warehouse and logistics; Prepare, print, and organize shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading (BOLs), customs forms, and other logistics-related paperwork; Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Logistics Manager or other leader to support the supply chain operations Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred; 2 years of previous experience in Supply Chain preferred; Other skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams) The ability to solve problems professionally in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines is required. Strong organizational, time management skills Attention to detail Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and a team environment Language Skills Ability to read and interpret purchasing related documents such as catalogs, product-related literature, and technical books and/or manuals. Ability to prepare reports, purchase orders and correspondence related to purchasing. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and with other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
