Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse functions, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting the efficiency of our warehouse operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment operation, and logistics processes. Responsibilities Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders and order pickers to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload shipments. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves accurately and replenishing inventory as needed using warehouse management systems (WMS). Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting goods, and documenting movements. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing products for shipment and ensuring proper packaging for safe delivery. Conduct regular inventory counts, stock audits, and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices in warehouse operations. Requirements Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or related logistics setting. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and AS400 is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; forklift certification is preferred. Strong basic math skills for inventory counting, order calculations, and data entry accuracy. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with experience in order fulfillment processes such as picking & packing or order picking. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. repetitive walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder. Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled. Good hand-eye coordination.Pay:
