Warehouse Associate

General Plumbing Supply is NJ's largest independent wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling and industrial products. With 24 locations and 14 showrooms showcasing decorative kitchen and bath products, GPS is a growing company with an active environment for employees and customers. We are looking to add a Warehouse Associate based out of our Hawthorne, NJ branch

What You'll Do:

Unload and load trailers and trucks Move material within and outside the branch Pull materials for customers that are picking up at the branch Maintain the quality and accuracy of inventory data Standard shift hours will be 7am-4pm, M-F, with the ability to work two Saturdays a month Required for

Success:

Forklift Certification 2+ years of experience utilizing forklifts and order pickers Knowledge of safety protocols Knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and construction supplies is a plus Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds daily and heavier items occasionally Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$18.75 - $19.25 per hour Expected hours: 44 - 50 per week
