Warehouse Associate

Description:

General Summary Maintains a neat, organized and safe warehouse set up with just in time inventory levels. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies per the BOM (Build of Materials) for the specific job site to the Operations Teams. Duties and Responsibilities Aid in warehouse duties as presented by the Warehouse Manager Equipment and inventory sorting, storing, and counting Aid in warehouse organization as directed by Warehouse Manager Empty trucks returning from job sites Sort through equipment emptied from the returning trucks/trailers Ensure deliveries are accurate per the BOM sheet. Report any errors to the Warehouse Manager Maintain a clean and safe facility Ensure warehouse facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures Prepare items for delivery to job sites in the event the job BOM was incorrect due to changes Conduct inventory counting as well as other warehouse-related duties Ensure the facility is cleaned at least (2) times per week and trash and recycling are taken out from inside the facility of every room and each bathroom and new bags are placed in each bin Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Break down all cardboard and place it in provided recycling bins and work with the administration on needs in this area. Ensures the inside and outside of the warehouse area are clean and organized. Performs in a manner consistent with company core values Maintains strict confidentiality. Provides excellent customer service, for both internal and external customers. Follows all OSHA and other safety guidelines. Actively demonstrates teamwork at all times. Adheres to company safety standards at all times, in accordance with Company Safety Policies and OSHA regulations. Follow other policies and procedures. The duties described above are not inclusive. Additional duties may be permanently assigned or required from time to time due to the need to respond to customer needs and remain competitive in the marketplace.

Requirements:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Must be a certified forklift operator. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Highly organized and structured Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, employees, delivery drivers, and vendors Strong self-management ability Ability to inspire confidence and create trust. Ability to work under pressure and plan personal workload effectively. Understand and implement OSHA guidelines and keep the warehouse updated on standards, and policies and keep poster signage visible at all times.
