Are you a warehouse associate who'd love to make a difference with a growing, independent company? Performance Pro Supply, a family-owned business and leading wholesale distributor of insulation and other high-performance envelope products, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver to run things at our Redmond warehouse. We seek someone who is part leader, part customer service, and everything warehouse. The right candidate will be essential to building our business and satisfying the insulation needs of the builders, contractors, and occasional homeowner of Central Oregon. If you know the ins and outs of warehouse organization and making deliveries, are serious about smooth and safe operations, and aren't afraid to roll up the sleeves when something needs to get done, we'd love to have you on our team.Duties/Responsibilities:
Assists with on-site inventory — including daily flow, tracking, inspecting, storing, transferring, security, and more Oversees and properly maintains general cleanliness, safety, and physical condition of the warehouse Ensures safe operation of mechanized equipment, including daily inspections and logs, addressing, and reporting unsafe operation of equipment, and following up on any infractions with Fleet Manager Updates records, account information, safety logs, and other key data in the company's computer system Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations Assist as needed in coordinating loading and unloading of company vehicles and vendors/carriers Assist in safely unloading of trucks, organizing, and maintaining inventory/supplies in warehouse as needed Executes maintenance activities when needed Other duties to be assigned when deemed necessary by managerRequired Skills/Abilities:
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
•Working in an insulation warehouse & operating material handling equipment Possess valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical certificate Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to anticipate and solve problems Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines Proficient with data entry and inventory database systems Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies Ability to resolve customer/vendor complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor Thorough understanding of company products to be soldPhysical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk and talk or hear; and use hands to handle or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse Occasionally prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerEducation and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus! At least one year of box truck delivery experience recommended At least one year of forklift experience recommendedPerformance Review:
Position has 90-day introductory period First review will occur after 90-day introductory period Annual review will be scheduled per the employee handbookCompensation Package:
$22•25/hour•Depending on experience Overtime is available but must be approved by direct managerBenefits:
