Full-Time Job Summary The Produce Warehouse Associate/Selector is responsible for selecting of orders, focusing on the handling of fresh produce and perishable products. This hands-on role requires balancing high-speed order demands with precise quality control, and food safety compliance to ensure customer orders are delivered correctly and on time. Duties and Responsibilities •

Selecting:

Pull orders from cooler and stage accurately for each order. •

Equipment Usage:

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. •

Shipping & Fulfillment:

Attach outbound tags correctly to each pallet before loading. Load and unload trucks, occasional lumping (process of assisting with loading and unloading trailer contents) and restacks of trailers. •

Traceability:

Attach GTIN tags to each pallet accurately. •

Food Safety & Compliance:

Enforce strict sanitation and safety protocols according to FDA, USDA, and HACCP standards, using PrimusGFS standards. •

Other Duties:

Maintain organization of coolers, and cleanliness of warehouse. Occasional repacking of product. •

Work Schedule:

40-48 hours per week, with additional hours during peak of seasons. Weekend, and some night hours may be required. Qualifications •

Experience:

2+ years of warehouse/logistics experience, specifically in food distribution or produce. •

Leadership:

Strong team skills. •

Certifications:

Forklift certification is strongly preferred. •

Knowledge:

Understanding of

USDA/FDA

food safety regulations. •

Physical Ability:

Capable of lifting up to 50-60 lbs. and working in cold, refrigerated environments •

Language:

Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Pay:
