This role plays a critical part in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant environment to ensure the highest quality products for our stores. Position Summary The Warehouse & Bakery Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the warehouse and bakery areas. This includes cleaning equipment, floors, restrooms, collect and remove trash and cardboard throughout the facility and work areas to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards. Key Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and scrub floors as needed Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, tables, coolers, and freezers Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock supplies Clean windows, walls, and exterior building areas Remove trash, cardboard and recyclables and transport to disposal areas (up to 50 lbs) Receive and organize bakery supply deliveries Clean bakery equipment including mixers, proofers, ovens, and fryer systems Change and filter fryer oil Clean floor drains and sediment traps Restock cleaning and operational supplies (up to 50 lbs) Clean warehouse equipment Perform additional cleaning and support tasks as assigned Requirements Must be available to work weekends Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and move continuously Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot/cold environments) Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards Reliable attendance and willingness to work additional hours when needed Must follow all safety policies and procedures Physical Demands Standing and walking on concrete floors for extended periods Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting Repetitive movements including lifting, pushing, and pulling Lifting up to 40-50 lbs, occasionally overhead $20.00 an hour
