Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's operations by efficiently and safely operating sit-down forklifts within our warehouse and distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will involve loading, unloading, and transporting materials and products to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials and products in a safe and efficient manner Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation related to material movements Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize material handling and logistics processes

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment Proficient in the use of sit-down forklifts, with a strong understanding of safe operating procedures Ability to read and interpret inventory records, labels, and shipping documents Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse setting, with the need to stand for extended periods and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds. The schedule may include different shifts, weekends, and holidays as required to support the company's operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $19 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
