Opportunity Overview Position Detail Information Job Title Warehouse Operator Location Tremonton, UT Shift 1st Starting Base Hourly Wage $20.25 per hour Shift Premium None Job Summary Warehouse Operator is responsible for operating the powered industrial truck and forklift to move product, equipment, or materials. Key Responsibilities Responsible for operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely. Responsible for pre-operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift. Operate a scanner and learn the required transaction process. Responsible for picking both fresh and frozen products. Responsible for loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation. Maintenance and good housekeeping duties. Responsible for cooler and freezer operations. Repair and sort pallets as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Job Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck and/or forklift.Age:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.Certification:
Must be able to become certified on operating equipment including powered industrial trucks and forklift.Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Skills:
Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math. Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Must have good attention to detail.Physical Abilities:
Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.Environmental:
Ability to work in varying temperature conditions including cold temperatures.Flexibility:
Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.Compliance:
Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
