The Warehouse Operator / Driver is responsible for adhering to task and policies set by the Senior Shipping Receiving Inventory Manger and Operations Department. The Warehouse Operator / Driver is required to work closely with the Senior Inventory Manager and Internal Teams to help those departments with any aspect of receiving and transporting inventory that touches each department within our company.Job Responsibilities:
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material-handling equipment, in a safe and efficient manner. Perform loading, unloading, staging, and movement of raw materials and finished goods. Transport materials and products as required, maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and internal safety standards. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems and related documentation. Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and material-handling equipment and report maintenance needs. Support shipping and receiving operations, including documentation and verification of shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and vehicle environment. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and other departments to meet operational deadlines. Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. Additional duties as assigned. Licenses, Certifications, and Skills Required Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class C with HazMat endorsement required. Forklift experience required; certification preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation safety practices. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience in production or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language. Core Competencies and Abilities Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Deadline-oriented with strong time-management skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Strong multitasking capabilities. Excellent ability to work collaboratively with others. Proficiency in using common PC applications and inventory management software. Cognitive (Reasoning) Requirements Ability to apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, visual, or schedule form. Communication Requirements Ability to clearly explain detailed data and problem-solve both in person and by telephone. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to compose routine correspondence independently. Ability to make comprehensive notes in English; may involve a large volume of written documentation. Must be able to communicate effectively while working under pressure.Compensation:
