Description Summary:

Looking for an associate to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where every day is different. Primary duties will involve working in our warehouse assisting with putting away material on a daily basis.

Reports to:

Warehouse Manager Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Willingness to learn how to cut wire and perform industry specific tasks in our warehouse is key.
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist
• Ability to work on concrete floor for entire shift
• Ability to climb ladders to pull material
• Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to operate various forklifts

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No Essential Job Functions:

• Put away product into correct system generated primary stock location
• Find secondary/overflow location if primary stock location is full
• Coordinate with Lead to confirm suitability of secondary location
• Place product into appropriate rack locations
• Ensure all pallets put into racks are utilizing the correct system generated pallet configuration
• Maintain product rotation, ensuring the oldest product is picked first and product is rotated from secondary to primary locations
• Participate in daily cycle counts
• Operate the forklift as needed to complete project work.
• Maintaining the assigned work zone.
• Resolving discrepancies with appropriate departments.
• Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Assign and distribute work through a computer.
• General housekeeping.

Veteran Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 hourly.
