Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the "Property") is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Receiver will report to the Controller to coordinate the receipt and return of materials ordered by purchasing, ensuring shipments are as ordered. This position will be responsible for the distribution of goods and mail within the company, including truck shipments, UPS, DHL, and FedEx deliveries; all mail distribution; and runner duties for deliveries and Pickups as assigned by management. Computer skills will be used to track orders, verify backorders, and access the Purchase Order index. #OakGrove

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Opens as necessary, inspects for damage, and checks quantities received against Purchase Orders, assuring shortages are indicated on shipping papers, and overages returned to vendor. Receives all shipments in Ariba systems and notifies department heads of short deliveries. The Ariba/S4 Hana PO and receipt system does not allow for backorders. Receivers will communicate all shipment shortages as backorders to departments for their determination of reordering. Forwards all packing lists and receiving tickets to Purchasing and corporate accounts payable signed and verified. Coordinates damage claims, corresponding with the shipper to rectify shortages. Routes items to departments, May need to operate the Pallet Jack as necessary, works with the Warehouse team. May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid Driver's License. Other tasks and duties assigned by the Purchasing Manager. Maintaining inventory of invoices in a neat and organized fashion. Keeping office space and office area neat and orderly.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Oral and written communication skills. Willingness to work with our Warehouse team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience as a receiving and/or shipping clerk is preferred. Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
