Job Description

Position Overview:
Perform various functions that may include purchasing and maintaining appropriate warehouse stock levels, purchasing raw material as needed, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards Open and sort crates and other containers Maintains inventory controls by recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer; transmits information to accounting as needed to support vendor invoice payment Assist in counting of physical inventory Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat Keep the warehouse and work area organized at all times Generates purchase orders for parts and transmits them to vendors (via vendor automated online order entry system where available) and to accounting Records receipt of ordered parts and their storage locations; transmits information to accounting as needed to support vendor invoice payment. Participate in various training programs to enhance compressor product and computer system knowledge. Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred 1-2 years mechanical experience preferred Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Inventory Management Software Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment Dependable and reliable Prefer oilfield equipment, preferably compressor packaging experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily Ability to lift up to 80 pounds Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone Working Conditions • Office Environment with controlled temperatures • Subject to outdoor and plant environment with adjusting temperatures and climate
