(or ability to obtain one) Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Tech to join our fast-paced distribution team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. Your expertise will ensure smooth flow of materials, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of goods. Duties Hands-on execution of a full range of warehousing duties, including physical receipt, storage, inventory, and shipment of materials, all while maintaining an organized storage plan. Responsibility Description Material Receiving and Verification Manages all incoming materials by verifying them against receiving documents, noting and reporting any discrepancies or obvious damage. Routes materials to their prescribed storage locations and records all transactions into the Navy ERP system. Storage and Warehouse Organization Stores, stacks, and palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods and the facility's storage plan. Rearranges and organizes stored materials to ensure efficiency and safety, and regularly examines stock for any signs of deterioration or damage. Inventory Management and Control Conducts regular material spot inventory counts by identifying stock numbers, part numbers, quantities, and locations. Verifies physical inventory against system records. Performs causative research to resolves storage and material discrepancies, and works to ensure the accuracy of all stock information. Shipment Preparation and Packing Ability to prepare materials for shipment by removing them from storage and packing them in appropriate containers. Selects correct packaging, uses protective materials to prevent damage, seals containers, and applies all necessary labels and identifying data for shipment. Equipment and Vehicle Operation Operates light trucks (under 1.5 tons), passenger vehicles, and manually controlled forklifts to safely transport goods and materials on base and throughout the faciliteis as required. Qualifications

MUST HAVE A SECURITY CLEARANCE

(or ability to obtain one) Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments with hands-on warehouse experience Strong knowledge of equipment operation including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for warehouse locations, materials handling and heavy lifting Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Experience with Navy ERP systems for order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory control Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities Join us in a role that keeps our operations moving forward!
