Warehouse Technician II is a mid-level role responsible for inventory management, stock replenishment, and logistics support within the hospital's supply chain. This position requires experience in warehouse operations and proficiency in handling medical supply distribution.

High school diploma or equivalent One (1) to three (3) years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or hospital materials management Familiarity with hospital inventory systems (e.g., ERP System) Ability to troubleshoot inventory issues and provide solutions Strong organizational skills and ability to work under minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications:
None Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform advanced inventory control, including cycle counts, par level adjustments, and stock audits Assist in training Warehouse Tech I employees in warehouse procedures and inventory management systems Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure supply requests are met efficiently and accuratel Utilize inventory tracking systems to analyze stock levels and prevent shortages Support receiving and inspection processes, ensuring compliance with hospital standards Assist in problem resolution related to supply chain discrepancies or backorders Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or hospital-approved carts, to transport goods Safely operate hospital-approved transport carts or vehicles for supply delivery within facilities Monitor and manage par levels at designated supply locations Follow infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination Ensure all Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and medical waste disposal guidelines are followed by regulatory requirements Adhere to OSHA, Joint Commission, and hospital safety standards Each caregiver is responsible for implementing SJRMC's Service Standards into their daily work: Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship Other duties as assignedPhysical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages up to fifty (50) pounds regularly Comfortable standing for extended shifts without frequent breaks Ability to walk long distances, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb ladders as needed Perform repetitive tasks like picking and packing without discomfort Good hand-eye coordination for operating equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.) Physical stamina to maintain activity levels throughout shifts May require a pre-employment medical evaluation to ensure physical fitness for the role Hospital warehouse setting with exposure to temperature variations, lifting requirements, and fast-paced work demands Full-time position with standard hospital supply chain hours as described per policy. Hours of operations may vary with evening and weekend shifts as necessary for operational need May involve on-call responsibilities for urgent inventory and supply chain needs As you go about fulfilling this mission, your work habits and work relationships should embody SJRMC's values.
