In-Person $15.00 per Hour 0 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Since 1986, Westmoreland Medial Equipment Company (WME) has been dedicated to meeting the Durable Medical Equipment needs to the patients of Western Pennsylvania. Operating in nine counties, WME provides life-sustaining equipment to its patients, including but not limited to oxygen equipment and supplies, wheelchairs, and hospital beds. Westmoreland Medical Equipment Company is a family-owned and operated company with its headquarters located in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Its staff is committed to ensuring each order is completed with efficiency and compassion for our patients. We take great care in providing our services to our vulnerable population and are proud of the work we do. The Warehouse Technician is an integral part of the business whose primary responsibility is to clean, sanitize, and repair medical equipment to be ready for patient use.
Responsibilities include:
Sanitizes, disinfects and tests medical-grade equipment for patient use Maintains paperwork on maintenance of equipment Utilizes proper bagging and tagging techniques on equipment Maintains organized and clean warehouse
Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift 140 pounds Successful passing of background check Negative drug test High school diploma/
GED Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with durable medical equipment Patient experience
Note:
Company has a workplace ban on smoking.
