Huguenot, NY Position Summary/Description Adecco is partnering with a client in Huguenot, NY and is hiring a warehouse worker. The warehouse worker is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, managing inventory, and ensuring the warehouse remainsanized and clean. Grade (K)

• Loading or unloading drums, bags or bulk material into or out of trucks with supervision.
• Filling finished product into drums and pails.
• General cleaning in all warehouses and tank farm areas.
• Transferring materials from one area of the plant to another.
• Prepares materials for shipment according to specified instructions.
• Conduct all assigned work in a neat, clean orderly manner, following all pertinent GMP's and SOP's.
• Understands and follows proper methods for handling all raw materials, intermediate, and finished products.
• Sets up various pieces of equipment which is from time to time required as part of the warehouseman's duties. This includes connecting hoses, pumps, filters or moving pieces of equipment such as scales.
• Assists in monthly and annual inventories.
• All other tasks assigned by supervision and/or management.

Position Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Special Requirements and Independency:

stream mapping preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, reach, stoop, squat, climb ramps & stairs, push and pull, reach at or below waist level and occasionally overhead, drive (forklift), hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (machinery alarms). Job Competencies

IT Skills:

Microsoft Suite experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to speak, write, and read English.

Pay Details:
