Warehouse/Delivery Driver/Customer Service

We are seeking a multi-tasking Warehouse/Delivery Driver/Customer Serviceperson who is detail-oriented and possesses the physical and mental stamina this role requires. You will play an important role in ensuring our warehouse operation with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders, prepare them for shipment, delivery, and customer service. Forklift certification and previous warehouse experience are a major plus.

Warehouse/Delivery Driver/Customer Service- Duties and Responsibilities Route Management:

Review route sheets to establish daily delivery quotas. Load and prepare deliveries. Maintain call list and establish order needs from customers. Utilize and perform necessary documentation processes needed to process customers orders within the systems provided.

Warehouse Order Preparation:

Load/Unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare orders for outgoing shipments.

Charging Station operation:

Loading station, monitoring charge state, and repalletizing batteries.

Software operations:

LTL shipment scheduling, order entry, and customer order intake.

Delivery Execution:

Drive delivery trucks (including route trucks) to and from vendors, retail stores, and distribution centers. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Issue dated delivery notes to customers.

Customer Service:

Be the face of our company during deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries.

Quality Control:

Collect defective or otherwise unsuitable merchandise during deliveries. Safeguard products from loss, damage, or theft during transportation.

Maintenance:

Maintain delivery vehicles (trucks or vans) by support of lease vehicle service provider. Arrange for necessary repairs when needed. Warehouse Operator Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training Physical staminal; must be able to lift 50+ pounds at a time. Able to work long hours on one's feet and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent verbal communicator Computer literate Thorough, alert, and detail-oriented Dependable and responsible Strong work ethic Comfortable working independently Makes safety a priority.

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
