Warehouse/Forklift Driver

Job Overview Com-Pac International is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse / Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for loading and unloading shipments, operating forklifts and warehouse equipment, organizing inventory, and ensuring products are handled accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks and shipments
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
• Prepare orders for shipment and receiving
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Accurately complete shipping and inventory documentation
• Work cooperatively with warehouse and office staff
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and staging areas
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Skills
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred
• Valid forklift certification is a plus
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Ability to type preferred
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to learn new software relatively quickly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Pay:

$16.50 - $17.00 per hour
