Wash Bay Attendant

Summary National Trailer Source is hiring a Wash Bay Attendant at our Decatur, TX dealership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety in their day, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. You'll handle everything from washing and detailing trailers to moving units with a forklift and hauling trailers for weigh tickets. Key Responsibilities Wash and detail the interior and exterior of trailers in a covered wash bay in all weather conditions. Move trailers safely using a forklift or tow vehicle as needed. Haul trailers to create weigh tickets and return them to the lot. Lock and unlock all trailer inventory daily; assist with lot organization and display setup. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the wash bay, lot, and work areas. Empty large trash containers and remove debris from shop areas. Get the company fleet (golf carts, tow vehicles, etc.) in and out each day. Assist technicians or other departments with trailer movement or light tasks when requested. Competencies Safety-focused with good manual dexterity and balance. Attention to detail and good customer service. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team. Strong communication and time-management skills. Takes pride in quality work and attention to detail. Enjoys a variety of tasks and physical, outdoor work. Requirements Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided). Ability to operate tow vehicles and move trailers of various sizes. Ability to lift 50 lbs+, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Proof of U.S. work eligibility. Safety-minded and dependable attendance record. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $13.00/hour and up , based on experience. PTO (Personal Time Off) or vacation pay. Work Schedule Full-Time:
