In this vital role, you will be responsible for applying waterproofing materials and sealants to protect structures from water intrusion, ensuring durability and longevity of buildings. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality construction projects, from commercial to residential sites, by delivering precise caulking and waterproofing solutions. Pay is comensurate with experience. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of waterproofing materials. Apply caulking, sealants, and waterproof membranes accurately along joints, seams, and penetrations using hand tools and power tools. Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring all waterproofing is properly sealed and meets project specifications. Maintain safety standards by using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA regulations at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on waterproofing, caulking, Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and equipment operation relevant to waterproofing tasks. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately is a plus. Familiarity with materials such as sealants, membranes, and glazing products. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; certification in OSHA standards is preferred.
