Web Lead

Description Robert Half has a client seeking a Web Lead commutable to Montgomery County, PA 3x a week. This candidate will manage the development side of a growing Digital Experience practice within a fast-paced agency environment. This individual will serve as the technical lead across web engagements, partnering closely with strategy, UX/design, project management, and leadership teams to drive scalable, high-quality digital solutions for clients.

Responsibilities include:

Leading technical architecture and implementation planning across digital projects Managing development workflows, standards, timelines, and technical delivery Partnering with Project Management on estimating, scoping, and resourcing Reviewing code for quality, accessibility, security, scalability, and maintainability Acting as a client-facing technical advisor during discovery, planning, and execution phases Mentoring developers and helping improve operational efficiency across the digital team Collaborating cross-functionally with strategy, UX/design, and account teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences Identifying faster, smarter, and more scalable technical solutions across engagements Requirements Required experience includes: 4-year college degree in computer science, web development, or a related field 6-8+ years of professional web development experience, ideally within an agency or digital consultancy environment Strong expertise with WordPress and modern CMS ecosystems Experience with HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, PHP, APIs, integrations, Git/version control, and modern development workflows Familiarity with platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Magento/Adobe Commerce, HubSpot, or similar CMS tools Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG), performance optimization, and scalable web architecture Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership and project ownership Strong communication, collaboration, and consultative problem-solving skills Innovation starts with people.
