  • Overview
  • The Website Design Specialist supports the development, design, and optimization of the company's digital experiences, primarily Web.
This role focuses on executing UX/UI design work, maintaining design systems, improving user journeys, and assisting with website enhancements that deliver intuitive, engaging, and consistent interactions. This position partners closely with Brand, Content, Customer Care, Development Teams and Agency Partners to bring user-centered design solutions to life. The Specialist contributes research insights, designs components and layouts, supports experience testing, and ensures all digital touchpoints meet brand, accessibility, and UX standards.
  • Key Responsibilities

UX/UI Design Execution + Create wireframes, low‑ to mid‑fidelity prototypes, visual layouts, and page designs based on defined requirements, briefs, or strategic direction. + Apply user-centered design principles to improve clarity, usability, and overall site experience. + Translate business needs and content requirements into intuitive digital interfaces for desktop and mobile. + Collaborate with development to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet intended UX goals. 2. Experience Support & Optimization + Assist with user journey mapping, task flow diagrams, and competitive audits. + Help identify friction points and improvement opportunities across key funnels driving conversion. + Support A/B testing and user testing initiatives by preparing designs, documenting observations, and analyzing user behavior data with guidance. + Participate in QA for new features or page releases to ensure UX and visual consistency. 3. Design System & Standards Maintenance + Maintain and update components, patterns, and documentation within the digital design system. + Ensure consistency in spacing, typography, iconography, and interaction patterns across digital surfaces. + Support the governance of UX and brand standards, helping teams apply guidelines across content and creative assets. 4. Research & Insights Support + Assist in gathering insights from analytics, heatmaps, user feedback, and usability studies and help translate findings into creative recommendations for improving user experience. 5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration + Work closely with the Director of Website Strategy & Ecommerce to align designs with strategic initiatives and performance goals. + Partner with content, brand, and development teams to bring new designs, templates, and site components to life.
  • Qualifications
  • + Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in UX/UI design, digital design, or website experience roles supported by portfolio work.
+ Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. + Basic understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG). + Experience building wireframes, prototypes, and visual layout designs. + Familiarity with CMS environments and how designs translate into front-end development. + Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for digital experience and user-centered design. + Excellent communication skills and comfort working in fast paced cross-functional team settings.

  • Pay Ranges
  • $54,983.
00 - $91,638.00 This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
